Listening

Listening. It’s something we all do, but sometimes not very well. I remember when I learned to listen. To REALLY listen. After relocating to Florida, I met and married my husband, Ken. One day while immersed in painting a watercolor, Ken called and asked me to come see something. When I did not respond, being engaged in my work, he found me and said; “When you call me, I come immediately to see what you want. I think I deserve the same respect”.

He was right.

A valuable lesson learned and something I’ve tried to apply to my life and art ever since. I listen to my inner creative muse and instincts. I listen to nature and the beauty that surrounds us. I listen to people to get their opinions and ideas regarding my art. I also listen to those that commission pieces from us. I listen, to learn how best to make that unique, inspiring piece of stained glass that will be proudly displayed in your home for years to come. I listen, to help create the perfect gift for a loved one or to celebrate an event with a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

I listen, to bring your ideas to life.
